Obituary of Germaine Morneau

MORNEAU, Germaine Crossed over on Monday, December 5th, 2005 at the Hotel Dieu-Shaver Hospital in her 93rd year. She will be greatly missed by her son J. Marc (Norma) Dumais and daughters Marjolaine (Bill) Kmetyk, Jocelyne Larabie, Monique (Phillip) Grant and Ginette (Charles) Courchesne. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Predeceased by her granddaughter Michelle Laure Dumais and her daughter in law Marilyn Dumais. Germaine was a strong prayer warrior. Germaine's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, on Wednesday, December, 7th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 8:30pm. Funeral Liturgy will take place on Thursday, December, 8th at 11am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 169 St. Paul Crescent. Rite of Committal will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers , memorial donations to the Hotel Dieu-Shaver Hospital would be appreciated by the family. A special thanks to Dr. DeSouza, Dr. Solomon, Dr. Harb and the staff of the Hotel Dieu-Shaver Hospital for the excellent care.
