Peacefully after a short illness on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at Henley House in his 90th year. Loving husband of the late Doris, beloved brother of Mary and Howard Walters, Peggy and the late Al Shaver, Betty and Tony Muzyka, Jean and the late Bruce Smith, the late Robert Robertson and Barbara, Dick and Elanor Robertson, Jim and Shirley Robertson, will be remembered by many nieces and nephews, loving son of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Robertson. Mr. Robertson was a retired employee of General Motors, he gave his time to managing baseball and hockey teams in St. Catharines winning a Canadian Fastball Championship for Niagara Motors in 1979, in 1974 he was named Sportsman of the Year and Mr. Fastball on different occasions, he was affiliated with the C.A.W. Hall organizing many trips.
Mr. Robertson is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel where his family will receive friends on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral to Celebrate Andrew's Life will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial Remembrances can be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Canadian Cancer Society. Thank you to the management and staff of Henley House for your care and compassion.
