Obituary of Ugo Costantini

Costantini, Ugo, born Jan. 12, 1924, Bertiolo, Italy, died peacefully Dec. 31, 2005, St. Catharines, age 81. Survived by his wife Ines, daughter Claudia Jones and husband Christopher, granddaughters Julia and Elaine, niece Danila Hill and husband Edward, niece Ivana Costantini and companion David, grandniece Kristina and companion Michael, grandnephew Colin and wife Rebecca, nephew Mario and wife Diana, nephew Franco and wife Marisa, and niece Maria Louisa and husband Alviano. Predeceased by his daughter Ilva, brothers Toni and Ettore, and sisters Alba and Pia. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Long time member of Club Roma, Fogular Furlan and St. Alfred's Parish. Ugo worked at Seneca Manufacturing from 1968 to 1989. Visitation will take place at George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, Mon. Jan. 2 7:00pm - 9:00pm, Tues. Jan 3 2:00pm - 4:00pm & 7:00pm - 9:00pm. There will be prayers for Ugo at the funeral home Tuesday at 7:30pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, St Catharines, Wed. Jan. 4, 11:00am. Internment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St., St. Catharines. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Community Care Access Centre Niagara, 149 Hartzel Rd, St Catharines, L2P 1N6, or your local Red Cross. Donation cards are available at the funeral home.
