Obituary of Bernard Serroul

Serroul, Bernard (Bernie) David - Surrounded by his loving family, Bernie continued his journey of faith when he entered his eternal home on December 31, 2005 at Ina Grafton Gage Home. He is survived by his wife Teresa of 50 years and children Gary (Debra), Catherine (Jack), Kevin, Brian (Helen) and Carol Ann. Bernie will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Justin, Julie, Alexandria, Krysta and Stefan. He will be remembered by his sister Ramona (Art) and brother Cyril (Maureen) and many nieces and nephews. Bernie retired from General Motors in 1986. He was a dedicated member of St. Denis Parish, Knights of Columbus and Canadian Red Cross.Mr. Serroul is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. Visitation will begin on Monday January 2, 2006 from 7-9pm and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will said on Monday at 7:30pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday January 4, 2006 at 10am at St. Denis Church. Interment will take place following at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to either Canadian Diabetes or Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Foundation.
