Obituary of Mary Bertha Chiborak

Chiborak, Mary B. Passed away, peacefully, at the St. Catharines General Hospital Thursday, March 2nd, 2006. Mary B. Chiborak in her 96th year, beloved wife of the late John Chiborak (1986) and the late Andrew Bayza (1950). Loving and cherished mother of Gerald Bayza (Julie) and Margaret Parnall, beloved stepmother of William (Mary) Chiborak, Elsie Lyttle, Edward (Donna) Chiborak, and Alec (Mary) Chiborak. Also survived by grandsons, Lee, T.J. and Ryan (Heidi) Parnall, and great grandson Owen Parnall. Many step-grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive. Predeceased by parents, Michael and Agnes Shewchuk, brothers Frank, Jack, Stanley Shewchuk, infant brother Jack and sisters, Ann, Rose, Margaret, and Jessie. Many nephews and nieces also survive. Retired Nurses Aide from the St. Catharines General Hospital. Mary was a resident at the Tufford Manor for many years, and will be missed by the Staff and Residents. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital as well as the Paramedics and Firemen for their excellent care. Mrs. Chiborak is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. until Saturday at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 10 a.m. with Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting Hours Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers for Mary will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday at 8 p.m. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
