Obituary of Biagio Angrilli

ANGRILLI, Biagio Passed away with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer on January 30, 2011 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of 51 years to Maria (nee Frattaroli), loving father of Stan, Anthony (Tina) and Mauro (Kristen) and proud nonno of Julia, Alysha, Jenna and Michael. Cherished brother of Ugo (Lucia) of Thorold and Lucia, Vincenzo, Ines and Olga all of Italy and Giovanni of Belgium and dear brother-in-law of Albert (Grazia) Frattaroli of St. Catharines and Massimiliano (Luisa) Frattaroli of Italy. He will be sadly missed by nieces Margaret, Antoinette, Josephine (Remo) and nephew Paolo (Ruth) and their families. Predeceased by parents Giuseppe and Giuseppina Angrilli, mother and father-in-law Margherita and Antonio Frattaroli and brother Antonio. He is survived by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family in Italy and Belgium. Biagio was born in Pescara, Italy and emigrated to Canada in 1965. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to (Zio) Ugo Angrilli for his compassion and assistance during Biagio's illness and to the Doctors and numerous other health care professionals who assisted with Biagio's care. Mr. Angrilli's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, February 2nd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street on Thursday, February 3rd at 11am. Entombment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Hwy 20, Fonthill. Vigil Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Wednesday at 3pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
