Obituary of Leonie Lavigne

LAVIGNE, Leonie (Hebert) Passed away suddenly on Friday, April 8th, 2005 in her 91st year. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years Albert . Will be forever missed by her daughters Adele (John) Kanters and Paulette (Lee) Makse. Loving grandmother of Paul Kanters of Delhi, Michelle (Kenny) Chapman of P.E.I. , Monique (Theo) Kermandis of Australia, Brian (Lorie) Makse of Toronto and Keith (Patti) Makse of St. Catharines. Great grandmother to Kristina, Alyssa and Emily Chapman and Devon and Nathan Makse. Sister of Yvette Hebert of Gatineau, Quebec and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Raymond Lavigne and siblings Henry Hebert, Irene Miller, Margaret Tims, Juliette Johns, Imelda Hebert, Clementine Hebert and Emmett Hebert. Leonie is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines where her family will receive visitors on Sunday, April 10th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers at the funeral home on Sunday at 7:30 pm. A funeral liturgy will take place at Immaculee Conception, Garnet Street, St. Catharines on Monday at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
