Peacefully at 90 years of age with her family by her side on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Village. Wife of the late Ray, loving mother of Carolyn and her husband Brian Smith of Angel Fire, New Mexico, Evelyn (Lyn) and her husband Ken Beckett, dear Grandma Woody of Chris and Andrew Smith, Richard, Jeff and precious Jimmy (died in 1991) Beckett, great grandma of Hayley Smith, dear sister of Carrie and Ray Neilsen, the late Jimmie Dick and his wife Mabel, sister-in-law of Ivy Graver and the late John Graver. Lillian was a past member of the Ontario Field Naturalists.
Lillian is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. where family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at Grace Mennonite Church, Niagara St. on Saturday at 1 p.m. with cremation to follow. Memorial Remembrances to Help A Child Smile would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the wonderful staff and the residents at Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Village for their loving care and compassion.
