Obituary of Angelo Cipriano

CIPRIANO, Angelo Left us swiftly and quietly at his home on Tuesday, April 26th, 2005. Beloved husband to Maria of 55 years and devoted father to Lina (Christopher) Turner, Nick Cipriano and Frank (Kathy) Cipriano. Loving Nonno to Paul, Bryan, Caillie, Nolan, Liah, Jonathan, Michael, Robert, Angelina and David. Also survived by his sister, Laura Portanova. Predeceased by his brother, Fiore Cipriano (1984). Angelo worked as a porter at the Hotel Dieu Hospital for 20 years and retired in 1992. He spent his years of retirement cultivating his garden and tending to his fruit trees. The highlight of his week was visitation by his grandchildren for Sunday dinner, with his greatest joy being the celebration of holidays surrounded by his family. Angelo is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines where his family will receive visitors on Wednesday, April 27th and Thursday , April 28th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers at the funeral home on Thursday at 3pm. A Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Alfred's Church on Friday, April 29th at 11 am. Entombment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery . If desired, memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
