Obituary of Antonio Lettieri
LETTIERI, ANTONIO Suddenly at his vacation home in Florida on May 16, 2005 in his 71st year. Loving and devoted husband of 45 years to Domenica. Antonio will be dearly missed by his children; Vince (Frances), Natalina (Jeff Kelley), Tom (Piera) and Mike (Josephine). Loving nonno of Jenna, Julianna and Anthony Lettieri. Antonio is predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Rosa, and his brothers Michelle (Maria) and Filippo (Mimma). He is survived by his brother Vittorio (Teresa), and his sisters Carolina (Guisseppe) Paparo, Santina (the late Giovanni) Trivieri, Maria (Giovanni) Alessio, and Natalina (Giovanni) Angaran. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Antonio was born in Scandale, Italy on June 2, 1934 and came to Canada in 1962. He retired from General Motors at the age of 65 at which time he enjoyed traveling with his beloved wife. They shared many happy memories together. Our father loved his music and enjoyed playing the accordian. He also enjoyed spending time in his garden, reading and perfecting his wine making. One of his proudest moments was serving his homeland in the Italian Army as a "bersagliere". He was recently blessed in life with 3 grandchildren which were his pride and joy. He loved being around people and made friends wherever he went. Whether life long friends like Nick Minniti and family or newly made friends from Panama City Beach, he touched many lives.
