Obituary of Maria Rosa De Mita

De Mita, Maria Rosa Peacefully after a short illness on Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at St. Catharines General Hospital at 79 years of age. Beloved wife of Giovanni (John), loving mother of Maria (Vito) Sinopoli, Angelo, Michael (Arlene), Reno (Cindy), Jerry (Janine), beloved nonna of Angela and fiancee David, Robert, Christina, Rachel, Mathew, John, Isabella and great grandson Austin, dear sister of Amato (Giovanna) Biancaniello, Emilia (Amato) Prudente, the late Antonio (Letizia) Biancaniello, Felice (Maria) Biancaniello, Ralph (Ida) Biancaniello all of St. Catharines, Filomena, Geraldo and Maria all of Italy. Predeceased by brother-in-law and sister-in-law Antonio and Maria De Mita. Will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Mrs. De Mita was a member of St. Alfred's Church. Mrs. De Mita is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. until Saturday at 9 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 9:30 a.m. with Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting Hours Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday at 2:30 p.m. Memorial Remembrances to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
