Obituary of Stan Balevicius

BALEVICIUS, Stan Passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family at his home on Sunday, June 26th , 2005 at the age of 89. Much loved husband of Katie and beloved father of Ruth Young and her husband Neil, and Edwin Balevicius and his spouse Lisa Nave. Cherished Opa of Brendan, James, Rhys, and Sophia. He will sadly be missed by his family and friends. Stan is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines,where his family will receive visitors on Wednesday, June 29th from 7-9pm and on Thursday , June 30th from 10 -11am. A funeral service will take place on Thursday in the chapel at 11am with burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to Dr. Sandra Hartman for her compassionate care of Stan during his last days
