Dear Nestor & Mary
May I express my sincerest condolences to you and your family on the passing of the family patriarch, Ludwik.
I consider myself fortunate to have met the gentleman if only on two occasions. I found him to be enthousiastic, outgoing and eager to tell his story. I suspect that he would have had some interesting "war stories" to tell. I appreciate that at times he may have been difficult to manage but you are very fortunate to have him with you all these years.
My best wishes to all.
Roy Atamanuk.

Dear Siolkowski Family
I am so sad and sorry to hear of your father's passing. I don't know if you remember me, but your father was my godfather. It has been many years since I last saw him, but we did keep in touch through Christmas cards well into my marriage and then for some reason we lost touch. My parents (John and Vera Evanetz) spoke of him and your family often, and I would remember his warmth and some of the wonderful times we spent together when I was a child. I especially remember playing in your backyard on the wooden glider. It was one of my favourite places!
I can see that he was surrounded by a wonderful loving family, and I'm very sure he was proud of all of you. I know that he will always be in your hearts. My prayers and deepest sympathies are with you.
Vichnaya Pamyat.

Dear Nestor, Michael, Lida and family
Please know that we are thinking of you and keeping "vuyko Ludwik" in our prayers.
In sharing my memories of vuyko with Cheyne and Varka , we couldn't help but smile or even laugh-out-loud... his calling out "40" at the Plast bingo, wild Hawaiian shirts, funny voices and jokes, and his amazing singing voice coming down to us from the choir loft. On my last visit to 2 Concord Ave. I remember him beaming as he showed me photos of his grandchildren, "Moyi milliony" he said proudly.
May your countless memories keep him in your hearts always.
Thank you for sharing those wonderful photos with all of us who knew him.
Vichnaya Pamyat'. Khai Spochyvajut' z Bohom
sincerely,
Stepha and Cheyne
