Obituary of Steven Kaye

KAYE, Steven Passed away peacefully at Shaver Hospital on January 19th in his 85th year. Beloved husband for 65 years of Clarice (Powers) and loving father of Mark (Debra), Brian (Susan) and Diane (Brian) Berry. Cherished Grandpa of Jason (Nicole), Jeremy, Jonathan (Tawnya); Tara (Matt) Weedmark; Brandon Berry (Sarah) and Ashley Berry (Brendan). Great Grandpa of Isabella, Ava, Ila and Olivia. Also survived by his sisters in law Marion (Harold) Atkinson and Stella (Ivan) Kaye. Steve retired from General Motors in 1982 as a General Supervisor after 38 years. A special thanks to our dear friends Marion and George Schappert for their love and support during this time. Also, thanks to Dr. David Henry and Dr. Casselman, our palliative care nurses Lynn, Suzanne, Carma and Dr. Arvinte, and our appreciation to the nursing staff at Shaver Hospital for their excellent care and kindness. Cremation has taken place. Mr Kaye's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Sunday, January 23rd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, January 24th at 11am. If desired, memorial donations to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
