Obituary of Pearl Gleason

GLEASON PEARL Pearl Patricia Gleason (nee Stadnek), peacefully passed from this life early Sunday morning July 17th, 2005, in her 88th year. Pearl leaves behind her dear husband Cecil of 64 years , children Bruce, Bonnie, Michael, Cecil, Robert, Teresa and Noreen, twelve grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Pearl was an expert seamstress, an avid bridge player, a book and nature lover, and a wonderful mother. She cherished family and was so very proud of her children and grandchildren. Pearl was dealt a tricky hand during the last month of her life, and she played it with finesse. Pearl will be dearly missed by all of us in so many different ways. A Funeral Liturgy Without Mass will be celebrated at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, July 22nd, 2005 at 11 am. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
