Obituary of Margaret (Peggy) Goudie
GOUDIE, Margaret Ross (Peggy)
Born in Greenock, Scotland, December 10, 1912, beloved wife of the late Bob (March 15, 1985). Peacefully with her family by her side, Peggy passed away on December 8, 2004 at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital. She is survived by her loving daughter and best friend Roberta (Bob) Dick; Grandson Bob Jr. (Josie), great-grandson Corey and Cierra: Grandson Gary and his wife Allison, Grandson Kevin (Kara), Madison and great-grandson Conner. Loving daughter May (Ian) McSporran; grandson Donald and great-grandaughter Jennifer all of Paisley Scotland. Also survived by nieces Marcella and Eleanor, both of St. Catharines.
Peggy will always be remembered for her devotion to her family and her abundant zest for life. To the nurses, staff, recreation director, volunteers and Hospital Auxillary, thank you for the wonderful care and support to my mother and myself during her illness and special thanks to Dr. Reimer.
At Peg's request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her life will take place at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Monday, December 13, 2004 at 8:00 p.m. Visitation from 7-9 p.m. Reception following in the Kristen French Fellowship Room.
