Obituary of Mary Kathryn (Neen) Nelson

Nelson Mary Kathryn Hogan (Neen) joyfully has joined her family in Heaven after celebrating the spirit of Christmas with her family at home. Neen was the loving wife of the late Ted, and cherished mother of Mary Joel Modolo, Frederick (Rick) Nelson, Elizabeth Wood, and loved mother-in-law of Dennis, Laraine and Todd. Special grandmother of Michael, Mark and Jenny, Kate and Ross, Josh, Matthew and Kerry. Neen was pre deceased by her parents Thomas Hogan Sr. and Kathryn Doyle Hogan and her brothers and sister, Thomas (Jean) Hogan, John (Patricia) Hogan, Richard (Charlotte) Hogan and Alice (William) Gorman and also is survived by many nieces and nephews. Neen was a member of St. Julia Church and the C.W. L. of that parish,and the Gyrette Club. Neen is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home 585 Carlton St. until Wed. at 11:30 am Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Julia Church at 12 noon. Rite of committal will be held in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers for Neen will be said in the funeral home on Tuesday at 3 pm. Visiting hours are Mon.7-9 pm and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Memorial remembrances may be made to the charity of your choice.
