Obituary of Gaetano Di Pietro

Di Pietro, Gaetano Peacefully on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Gaetano Di Pietro in his 91st year. Husband of the late Isabella. Loving father of the late Carmine (Alessandra) of Italy, Federico (Lucia) and Vittalina (the late Guiseppe) Di Paola all of St. Catharines, dear grandfather of Gaetano (Anna Maria), Maria (Nicola), Isabella (Nicola) all of Italy, Peter (Maria), Gaetano (Teresa), Vita (Sergio), Vito (Antonietta) and Elizabeth (Lino), great grandfather of 12 great grandchildren, survived by his sister Giovanna of Italy, former husband of Evelyn Sutton. Mr. Di Pietro was a member of St. Alfred's Church, he was a veteran of W.W.II. Mr. Di Pietro is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. until Friday at 9 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church 9:30 a.m. with Rite of Committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting Hours Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be celebrated in the funeral home on Thursday at 2:45 p.m. Memorial Remembrances to Hotel Dieu Hospital Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
