Surrounded by her family , Ludwika Telesnicki ended her life's journey peacefully at her home Saturday, January 8, 2005. Ludwika was born in Poland August 25, 1907. She immigrated with her husband and infant son John in 1929 and homesteaded in Western Canada, moving to St. Catharines in 1945. Beloved wife of the late Ludwik Telesnicki (1966). Loving and devoted mother to Helena Davidson (Paul Mego), Kaz Telesnicki (Wilma), Jenny Kletke (Cliff) all of St. Catharines and Dr. Joseph Telesnicki (Barbara) of Dunnville. Dear mother-in-law of Jean Telesnicki of St. Catharines, Dorothy Telesnicki of New Brunswick and Gloria Marshall of North Carolina. Predeceased by infant daughters Cathy (1936) and Brenda (1938), sons John (1972), Walter (1982) and Ted (1996), grandchildren David (1969), David (1988) and Holly (1999). Cherished grandmother of 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. We are truly blessed to have had such a wonderful, loving and caring mother and grandmother. She will always be in our hearts.
Visitation will be held at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be celebrated in the funeral home on Monday at 7:15 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, January 11 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate St. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
