Passed away quietly with his family present on Sunday, January 16, 2005 at Douglas Memorial Hospital, Fort Erie. Gary went home to be with his Lord and Saviour in his 58th year. Beloved husband of Noreen for 35 years, predeceased by his son Stefan in 1980, loving dad of Pam and her husband Rick Bellante, dear papa of Dara, Alycia and Erica, predeceased by his mother Florence in 1986, dear son of Reginald and his wife Ann, loving brother and best friend of Tim and his wife Susan. Gary was affiliated with Golden Harvest Baptist Church in Stevensville. He served the Barrie community as a police officer for 14 years and the Niagara Regional Police Services as a Civilian Senior Officer from 1986 to present.
Gary is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street where a service to Celebrate his Life will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with cremation. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial Remembrances to Canadian Diabetes Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Thank you to the nursing staff of Douglas Memorial Hospital for their compassion, Dr. John Schultz friend and physician, C.C.A.C., and to all our friends for your many visits over the last 7 years.
