I worked with "L" ,as she would sign her email to me, at Flarity Travel. She would just shake her head at me, not say good morning and tell me to shut up when needed. I would frustrate her to "no end" asking her questions that she didn't have the time or patience to answer. Through all that you could just see the surface of Lorraine, with a hint that there was much more underneath, but as time went on the real Lorraine came out and I am more than thankful that I got to see the special person that she was and always will be in my memories and my heart for her. Goodbye Lorraine we will meet again and don't be too rough on God when he lets you through those pearly gate. I will miss you.

I met Lorraine in 1990, I had just been hired at Flarity Travel. Lorraine as my trainer, our journey began. We shared the same views about many aspects of life. One day, with that puzzled smile look that only Lorraine could give, she asked when is your birthday? I told her it was in July 1955. She then proceeded to tell me that I should always respect and pay attention to my elders!
Lorraine the kind of friend that you could talk to. Whether it had been one day or one month, you could always pick up where you left off and not skip a beat.
A friend with strong convictions, mixed with a sincere and sensitive touch, a wonderful witty sense of humour-that is the Lorraine I will cherish and miss.
I know she will be one of the five people I meet in heaven!

I knew Lorraine many years ago when we both worked downtown. Recently I met her again, unfortunately through her illness and the nature of my business. It was nice to see her again after all the years. She was a lovely lady and to see her courage in fighting her breast cancer certainly gave one pause to think. I am pleased to have known her.
