Obituary of Francesco (Frank) D'Alessandro

D'Alessandro Francesco (Frank) Peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Sunday January 30, 2005, in his 76th year. He is survived by Anna, his wife of 50 years., his son Tony and daughter-in-law Jennifer, his daughter Marisa Kilgallen and son-in-law Don. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jillian, Shane, Anthony, Matthew and Kyle. He is also survived by his sister Rosa Evangelista of St. Catharines, sister Maria Pannacione and brother Guiseppe D'Alessandro of Italy. Frank was employed with Port Weller Dry Docks for 30 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of St. Alfred's Parish. Mr. D'Alessandro is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until at Thursday at 10:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 11:00am. Entombment in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill. Visiting hours are Tuesday 7-9pm and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson's Foundation of Canada or the Niagara Penninsula Children's Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family. Resta in pace caro nonno.
