Obituary of Velda (Val) Tymochko

TYMOCHKO VELDA (Val) August 11, 1938 - June 29,2004 Peacefully at the Henderson Hospital in Hamilton, surrounded by her family. Val was the dear wife of Fred for 49 years. Cherished mother of her special children Tracy and Roger Delisle, Todd and Debbie. A wonderful Ama to the lights of her life Scott, Trevor and Alana Delisle and Wendy. Precious sister and best friend of Norma Lawrenson (Jim 1996) and cousin Irene Gallant (Reg 2004). She leaves behind many loving sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews, their families and special Aunts Theresa and Olive who all thought so much of Val. Val will also be missed by a great deal of wonderful friends, especially Joan Hammond who she had known since childhood. Val is not alone for she is in the loving, comforting arms of her family who have past before her. Dad (Henry Arsenault 1957), mom (Emily 1999), Ernie (brother 1969), Janet (sister 1984), Gloria (niece 1974) and her brother in law Jim (1996).Val is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Friday at 10:00am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in Star of the Sea Church at 10:30am. Rite of committal in St. John's Cemetery. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Thursday at 8:15pm. Visiting hours are Wed. 7-9 and Thursday 5-9pm. Memorial remembrances to the Henderson Hospital or Help a Child Smile would be appreciated by the family.
