Visits
I remember when my Dad and I would come over to your house to watch football when I was very young. You never had toys to play with so you gave me your back massager to play with, which I thought was a wooden car for the longest time. I remember playing in your back yard and eating the vegetables out of your garden (whether I was allowed or not). I'll never forget your crazy stories and your cheerful smile. The Viking in all of us will live on forever. I'll miss you Grandpa, and I'll love you always.

The Ashtray
I have a funny story to tell, one that Russ loved to hear time and time again, and its about the ashtray. Back when we were in our teens I often went to visit Jimmy on Tecumseh St. Russ as usual had lights out and went to bed by 8 pm...far too early for us kids. He had one ritual before bed though, his little trick, set the stand up ashtray right in the thruway to the bathroom by his room. I think it served as his 'make shift' alarm system. He would methodically move it every night in different places which of course I tripped over repeatedly. I will never forget every time that darn thing fell, hearing, "who's there , is that you Tamara! you darn Kids!!" I love you Russ and all your funny ways. RIP
