Nanny
I love you so, but could never say
Until now when you've gone away
That empty feeling, always there
Filled with the memories of you everywhere
At peace and rest, I hope you lie
But why, my Lord, did Nan die?
I love you so, but could never say
I'll tell you up above one day
But hear me now, I'll miss you dearly
Weekly, monthly, and even yearly
Knowing forever you'll be at rest
I trust you, Lord, to know what's best.
I love you so, but could never say
Until now when you've gone away
The smiling faces of gatherings past
In our hearts they'll always last
Always longing to hug and kiss you
But forever, Nanny, we're going to miss you.
Loving you always Trisha Stokes

GRANDMOTHER, MOM AND FRIEND
There are so many memories, to many to say,
I'll hold them close to my heart and cherish each day,
In heaven, you now are,
The most special of places, yes by far,
A great grandson, dear Dennis Paul,
Nannie, Nannie, you can hear him call,
I'm happy to see you, please hold my hand,
I'll show you around this wonderful land,
God needs you here, with me by your side,
I'll introduce you to all and do it with pride,
Guardian Angels, that's what we'll be,
Look down from heaven and what do you see,
There are memories of a lifetime, to live on forever,
We can protect them and love them and do it together,
Sadly missed and greatly loved,
We know your at peace, in heaven above.
Love Chrystal, Denny, Mandi and Alex

To all my family and those who knew NAN. Our lives have now been changed without her. I leave these words for you.
I cannot think you're not alive somewhere.
I think of you just as I did before.
No sudden gust of wind has closed the door
Or made your presence vanish in thin air.
I write this you this because I know your're there;
That even after death there must be more.
So does faith one's inner sun restore
After bitter darkness few can bear.
My mind and heart have not yet lost a friend
Even though my senses are bereft,
For you remain the witness of my soul.
No mere accident our love can end
So long as I have will and memory left,
And you lie silent on some unknown shoal.
Forever in our hearts.

Although I did not know Mrs. Arial, I did know her two sons, Butch and Bruce. I lost touch with the boys after moving to B.C. Both boys treated me like a little sister and I am honored to have known them both. I am deeply saddened to learn of not only their Mother
