Obituary of Wanda Sophia Farr

Farr, Wanda Sophia - peacefully on Tuesday, July 27th, 2004 at the age of 80 years is at rest with the Lord. Beloved wife of the late Jack Farr (1968). Dear mother of Dan Farr and his wife Lidwina, and Christine and her husband John Parker. Grandmother of Robert Farr and his wife Joan, Carla and her husband Glen Marett, Cheryl Farr, Craig Parker and his wife Katherine, and Daniel Parker. Great-grandmother of Justin and Jarrod Farr, Hilary and Conrad Farr, and Ryan Parker. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Peter and Sophia Mazurek, brothers Walter and Edward, and sisters Jean and Helen.Mrs. Farr was employed with Fraser Paper Company for 18 years, retiring in 1987; was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, and the Catholic Women's League. Mrs. Farr is at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., where the family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, July 28th from 7-9pm. Vigil prayers will be held at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Church on Thursday at 10:00am. Interment to follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. A private family viewing will be held at 6:30-7:00pm on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation or Charity of your Choice.
