Obituary of Stanley Dunton

DUNTON, STANLEY GORDON Peacefully on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 87th year, Stan Dunton beloved husband of the late Mary Dunton and loving father of Carrol and Jim Shields, Bob and Michele Dunton and Cheryl Dunton all of St. Catharines and Jo-Ann and Chris Wood of Oakville. Special Grandpa of Lindsay, Adam, Jason, Taylor and Ashley. Mr. Dunton was a member of St. Julia Church. Special thanks to the Nurses and Staff of the Oncology and Palliative Care Units at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Stan's family will receive relatives and friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, August 21, 2004, in St. Julia Church (corner of Glen Morris Dr.and Glenridge Ave.) at 9:30 a.m. Rite of Committal, Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be held on Friday at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial remembrances made to the St. Catharines General Hospital Future Regional Cancer Centre, Oncology and Palliative Care Units would be appreciated by his family.
