Romanek, Bruce Thomas
Peacefully at his home on Quiet Acres Farm in Niagara-on-the-Lake with his loving family at his side on Friday, October 29, 2004 in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Ruby for 35 years. Loving father of Genevieve, Virginia (Mark) Lawford and Bradley. Dear grandfather to both Nicola and Thomas, additionally his heartfelt love is sent to their new brother or sister who will be here in March. Predeceased by his brother Edward in February 2004. Survived by his sister Helen (Roger) Beckett and brother Frank (Wenda). He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephew. Bruce will be missed by many loving family members and friends. Bruce spent the past 36 years of his life enjoying farming, growing fruit and most especially the time he spent at his fruit stand. He will both miss and be missed by his faithful customers and friends he grew close to over the years. Bruce can now rest peacefully after sharing his gentle spirit, warm heart and productive life with many.
Bruce is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., St.Catharines where family will receive friends on Tuesday 2-4 and 6:30-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers for the deceased will be celebrated in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the chapel on Wednesday at 11a.m. with cremation to follow. Memorial Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
