Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there I do not sleep,I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glintz in the snow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain, When you awaken in the mornings hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the soft star that shines at night, Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die. Our thoughts are with you Maureen, Love Wendy and Terry xoxoxo

Mo, Randy, Courtney:
I am so very very sorry for your loss. Mike was a very special man, you don't need me to say it because you all knew it. He brought a smile to everyone's face and he had a heart of gold. Mike was a very good man and don't you let anyone tell you differently. We may have had our differences, but we loved each other and I know he loved you very much. He told me almost every day. He brought so much joy to my life as well as my family. When he lived out here with me, he had an extended family who loved him as much as I did. It's unfortunate that things didn't work out, but I loved you guys like my family as well and I still feel the same way. I've always cared about Mike dispite what happened and I've thought about all of you countless times.
Mo, I know Mike was your rock and I can't even begin to imagine how you're feeling. I know he was very important and special to you, but even though he's not here physically anymore he'll be in your heart forever. Do you remember when Mike gave you the book "I'll love you forever", well I'm sure if you read it he'll be sitting right beside you reading it and telling you how much he loves you.
Randy, I know you and Mike had a very special bond. He loved you a lot. You'll have to be Mo's rock now, please take care of her.
Court, You and Mike were the closest brother and sister that I've ever met. Your bond was so tight, nothing can break it. He'll be watching over you and helping you when you need it.
I wish I could be there right now for you guys. All I want to do is come down and give you a big hug. I just wanted to let you know that I'm sorry to hear of this tragic news. Mike was loved by all and hated by none. He was a great man, may he rest in peace and watch over us all.
Mike, I'll always love you...........and keep you near to my heart.
Mo, Randy, Courtney I know it's been a while since we've talked but I've never forgotten about you and if you ever need anything, and ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on or someone to share some amazing memories with, please don't hesitate to call me. I'm here whenever you need me. 204-471-8507.
Love forever,
Sarah

Well, Mike, I could hardly believe it when Kristie told me on the phone that I needed to sit down and the news that she told me after I did. You were such a sweet, happy and loving Human being. I remember being your sister-in-law, if only for a short period of time when you and Linda were so young. I remember how happy you made her when you first started to date her and I and her late brother thinking that you were just what she needed. You were. You were just what we all needed. Your extra big smile and the way your eyes sparkled when you laughed about something. You really were just a big ole teddy bear with a heart that was infinite in size. I remember going to visit Maria and Gino and you and the rest of the family and the fun we used to have laughing and carrying on the way we used to. Playing video games and watching movies and family outings. You were a good husband to Linda and a good brother-in-law to the rest of us.
I am sorry that I didn't keep in touch with you all of these years, except to see you around once in a while at places where you worked, doing what you did best, making people feel safe and happy. Well, all else that I can say is that all of us will miss you and I will remember you for the wonderful person you were and the kind soul that you are.
I am rambling here, but...I never did get to say goodbye to Michael...and Moe and Courtney and Randy, I am sorry beyond words for the loss and pain that you surely must feel right now and there truly isn't anything that anyone can say to make anything feel any better right now, so I won't try. God bless you all at this most difficult time in your lives.

I met Mike while he was working at Cougar's, he was that smiling face that always met me at the door. No matter when I went in, he always had a smile and hug for me, always remembering my name in the sea of faces he seen each night. His kindness, his smile, I know I will never forget. The world has just lost one more angel, but the heavens have gained one. He now looks upon all those that he loved. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

If I could quote a line from a famous movie "the size of your heart is not measured by the how much you love others but by how much your are loved by others" (Wizard of Oz)..Mike's heart had to be the size of the world. For the short time I knew Mike, his sense of humour and his easy nature made him a likeable guy. I will miss his gentleness and his knack to cheer you up even if his day wasn't going well. My heart bleeds for you, Maureen and Randy. He will be missed tremendously.
Yes, Mike..I do need a hug!
