Obituary of Sandra Greenhill
GREENHILL SANDRA (Sandy) On Monday March 1, 2004 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, after a short illness in her 64th year. Predeceased by her parents Alexander (Sandy) (1986) and Helen (2002) Greenhill. Survived by her aunt Barbara (Mrs. John Donelly) of Scarborough and cousins Ethel Scott of Cleveland Ohio, Linda and Armand Sabastianelli of Baltimore, Mardi Nicolson of Richmond Hill and Dr. Nick Nicolson of Toronto. Godmother of Patricia Dyson. Sandy worked for the VON of Toronto and she nursed at the St. Catharines General Hospital for 30 years. She was a member of the Port Dalhousie Legion Branch 350 and volunteered with the Henley Island Ladies Helpers for the past 30 years. Sandy will be sadly missed by her many friends especially Wilma, her best friend for over 45 years. Sandy was loving, kind and always put others before herself.
At Sandy's request cremation has taken place. A funeral mass to celebrate her life will be held in Star of the Sea Church, Elgin St. Port Dalhousie, on Friday at 10:30am. Memorial remembrances to Star of the Sea Church or the Lung Association would be appreciated.
