Obituary of Ruth Marian Eller

Eller, Ruth Marian Peacefully at the Niagara Arms on Friday April 16, 2004 in her 80th year. Devoted Wife of 58 years to Warren (August 2003). Beloved Mother of Suzanne (Dino) DiGiovanni of Alliston, Sandy (Bill) Kislasko, and Rick (Cathy) Eller, both of St. Catharines. Cherished Grandma of Mike and Jeff Kislasko, Greg, Erin and Meghan Eller. Predeceased by her sister Jean Drake and brothers Malcolm and Bob Thurlow. Ruth was a member of the UCW and Welland Avenue United Church. Ruth was also an active member of the Louth Women's Institute for several years. Her love of the outdoors was fostered by summers spent at the YMCA camp on Manitoulin Island. The camp was founded by her dad Ernest Thurlow. Ruth is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St.. The family will receive friends on Sunday April 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service for Ruth will be held at the Welland Avenue United Church on Monday at 11:00 am. Private family interment at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Memorial remembrances to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
