Obituary of Virginia Maksymyshyn

MAKSYMYSHYN, Virginia Passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer, on Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at the Henderson Hospital, Hamilton. Born July 6, 1938. Beloved wife of William. Dear mother of William (Gina), Michael (Tammy), and Terry (fiance Susan George). Cherished grandmother of Daniel. Sister of Joseph (Donna) Seniuk, Danny (Diane) Seniuk, and Russ (Lena) Seniuk. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Anthony and Mary Seniuk, and In-laws Nellie and William Maksymyshyn. Virginia is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Monday at 10:30am. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated in St. John's Ukrainian Catholic Church at 11:00am. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Saturday and Sunday 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Panachyda will be celebrated in the funeral home on Sunday at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
