Obituary of Ludwig Kercmar

Ludwig Kercmar: Passed away Friday, April 30th, in his 67th year, after a brave battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Kristina for 45 years. Loving father of Mario; Sylvia and Joe Das. Affectionate grandfather of Sarah and Jeremiah. He is survived by his sisters Olga and Irena of Slovenia, and brother Alexander of France. He was predeceased by his brother Stefan in 1981. The family would like to thank Carol and his other VON nurses, Dr. Hartman, Dr. Findlay and the Oncology staff at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Visitation will take place on Sunday, May 2nd from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street. Funeral Service will take place Monday, May 3rd, at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 213 Linwell Avenue, St. Catharines. Viewing will take place at the church at 9:30 a.m., Monday, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the future Regional Cancer Centre.
