Gamble Frederick John: Retired Sergeant of the Niagara Regional Police Force.(1956-1989) . On May 24, 2004 at the St. Catharines General Hospital ,in his 72nd year. Loving husband and best friend to Shirley Jean for 53 years . Dear father of Judie and Tom Holomego. Devoted grandfather of Jessica and Jarrod Burtt, Jennifer Holomego and Joey Holomego. Special great-grandfather of Kennedy Burtt. He is also survived by his mother Margaret (Black) Walters and sister Sandy Jodein. Predeceased by his father Frederick William Gamble. Fred was a retired member of Niagara Regional Police Service,chartered member of the Niagara Regional Police Revolver Club ,a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 350 (Port Dalhousie) ,he was also a member of Welland Avenue United Church. Friends may visit at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL 585 Carlton St. on Tuesday from 7-9 pm and on Wednesday from 2-4and 7-9pm . There will be a Funeral Service at the Welland Avenue United Church on Thursday. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.Donations to Welland Avenue United Church ,The Rose Craig Foundation or the Victorian Order of Nurses would be appreciated.
