Damiano, Nicola--- Peacefully in his 81st year, on Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Nicola Damiano, loving husband of Maria Joanne. Loved father of Pat (Bev) Damiano, Mike (Teresa) Damiano, Rosemary (Mark) Thompson, Ninetta (John) Egan, Nina (Stephen) Ferguson, and Anthony (Dawn) Damiano. Dear grandpa of Paul, Jennifer, Christina, Laura, Andrea, David, Lisa, Nicole, Michelle, Patrick, Daniel, Melissa and Nicholas, and great-grandpa of Eric. Nicola is the dear brother of Francesca (Vito) Tota and Incoronatta (Rocco) Portanova. Predeceased by brothers Pasquale and Alessandro and sisters Angelina, Maria and Claire. Nicola is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, until Friday at 9 a.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Alfred's Church at 9:30 a.m. Visiting hours Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers at 3 p.m. Rite of Committal will be held in Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
