Obituary of Thomas Stephen Grdovich

GRDOVICH, Thomas Stephen After a courageous battle with Leukemia, on Wednesday April 30, 2003 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital at the age of 17, he was received into the arms of the Lord. He passed away with his mom and dad, Marion and Joe, by his side. He leaves behind his brothers Bill and John, and his grandparents Anna and Zvonko Grdovich. He will be lovingly remembered by many relatives and friends who have supported him at Holy Cross High School, St. Ann's School and in the community. Thomas is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Saturday at 9:00am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Star of the Sea Church at 9:30am, with Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday 2-4 and 6-9pm. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 8:00pm. Memorial remembrances to McMaster Children's Hospital or Help a Child Smile would be appreciated by the family.
