I was so very sorry to read about Joe in the newspaper. My deepest sympathies to all of you. I remember Joe - Joey as we called him, having muscular dystrophy carnivals in the summertime we all had a good time. The best memory I have of him was his television appearance on the "Tiny Talent Time" show - he was playing the clarinet. What a celebrity! And we knew him too! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very sad time. He may be gone but never to be forgotten.

Although we lost touch over the years, I have never forgotten the only guy I ever say who could hit a 180 yard piching wedge.
Prayers from a old time playing partner
May the peace of God be with you all

For anybody who knew my uncle joey, you would understand how much he will be missed. Special occasions are always tons of fun at Nana+Papas house. Joey always made sure to come by and drop off kinder surprise eggs for all us kids. He was about as kind and gernerous as they come.Sadly, I couldn't make it to the funeral today but he still remains in my heart and prayers. Although his body is gone his spirit will always be with all of us here until a day when we meet again. May you rest in peace Joey. God Bless. Love always and forever. Robin

To the Pagoda Family:
I am so sorry to hear about the sudden loss of family member Joe. I will always remember Joe as a happy-go-lucky and kind hearted friend. I had the pleasure of attending grade school and high school with him. Joe "The Toe" will always be remembered as a great kicker for our Sir Winston Churchill Bulldogs senior football teams in 1974 and 1975. I offer my prayers and condolences at this time and May God Bless.
