Obituary of Lewis Albert Mann
Mann, Lewis Albert : Surrounded by his loving family on June 29 2003,at the Niagara -on-the-Lake Hospital. At 84 years of age . Lew devoted husband and best friend to Rhena .Loving father of Gary and his wife Marjorie.Cherished Grandad of Robb and his wife Jan ,Lori and her husband Dave Vandermolen and Jodi and her husband Tim Stewart.Great -Grandad of Sarah,Emily,Daniel and Scott. Survived by sisters Dorothy and her husband Jack Farr,and Shirley Long.Lew was past president ,treasurer and lifetime member of the Grantham Optimist Club ,joined in 1958.He was member and treasurer of the Port Dalhousie Seniors Club and an active member at St. John's Anglican Church in Port Dalhousie .Lew served in the Canadian Armed Forces and retired from the L.C.B.O. The family wish to extend a special thanks to the nursing staff at The Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital .A memorial celebration of Lew's life will be held at St. John's Anglican Church on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow . Cremation has taken place . Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL 585 Carlton St. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Lew's name to the St. John's Church building fund or the Diabetes Association.
