Obituary of Roderick John MacLean

MacLean, Roderick John Following a severe illness, Rod suddenly passed away in his 59th year, on Thursday, July 24, 2003 at the Etobicoke General Hospital. Comforting his side during his passing were wife Wanda, and sons John and Jason. Rod was a loving Husband to Wanda Rose, loving Father to John and Jason, loving Grandfather to Patrick as well as Father-in-Law to Tammy and Lee. Roddy is survived by his brother George (Sandra) MacLean and sisters Catherine (Alex) Conn, Roberta (Harold) McNeil and Mary Timmons. Upon this day, Roddy now joins brothers Douglas and Ernest, dear friend Rodney McKague and parents Moma & Dada.Rod is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., until Sunday,where a Funeral Service will be celebrated, time to be announced, with cremation to follow. Visiting hours for Rod are Saturday from 1-3 and 6-8p.m. Inurnment will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Memorial Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society, or the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated by his family.
