Dear Uncle John, Mary Ann, Jim, and Katie,
I was so saddened to learn of Aunt Val's passing. I have very pleasant memories of Aunt Val from all our family gatherings, and throughout the years (and my year studying in Toronto of course). Sorry I couldn't be with you for Aunt Val's service, but my prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
Love, Greg Lisle

Dear Uncle John, Mary Ann, Jim and Katie,
We were all so sad to hear of Aunt Val's passing. I was so glad to speak to both Aunt Val and Uncle John on the phone during my visit to Ottawa this summer. We fondly remember your visit with us in Calgary and still enjoy the pictures we have from that visit. It seems like yesterday. Our prayers are with you all.
Love from Ed and all in Houston

Uncle John, Marianne, Jim, and Katie:
Julie, Graeme, Grant and I wish to send you our deepest sympathy on the passing of Aunt Val. Our thoughts are with you, even if we cannot be beside you at this time.
My mother always said that Aunt Val was truely a Lady, an honorific she did not dispense often. Aunt Val also taught me the meaning of Rh, if not the medicine, and what she taught me, is what I teach my students now.
Julie and I were so glad to have visited in June, when the flowers were in such bloom. Aunt Val spoke so long about her family, her daughter, and especially about Katie.
We will always remember her, and be warmed by the memory of that June day.
Sincerely:
Peter, Julie, Greame, and Grant O'Neill

The world changes year by year
And friends from day to day
But never will the Val we loved
From our memory pass away.
