Obituary of Maxime Fournier
FOURNIER MAXIME "Max" Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and friends. After a courageous battle with cancer on Friday September 26, 2003, in his 20th year.. Beloved son of Alain and Joanne (Gelinas) Fournier. Cherished brother and best friend of Krystel. Loving and devoted companion of Cathy. Max will be sadly missed by Bud, Nuggett and Shaeshae, his two grandmothers, many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. Max graduated from Jean Vanier High School in Welland, where he was very active in sports. He was an avid hockey player with the CYO league and was the biggest Montreal Canadian fan. Our star player lost the biggest and hardest game to cancer.
Max is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Tuesday at 10:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in Eglise Immaculate Conception at 11:00am. Rite of committal in Victoria lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 7:00pm. Visiting hours are Sun 7-9pm and Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm. In memory of Max, those who wish, may make a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society
