Obituary of Catharine Ketty Stamatis
STAMASTIS, Catharine "Ketty"
Peacefully, on Thursday October 2, 2003 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton, with her long time, loving companion Gus Yiokaris by her side. Beloved aunt of Loucas and Vasiliki Sampson, great-aunt of Anthony and Peter, and great-great-aunt of Stephanie and Loucas, of Montreal. Also survived by her dearest friend Marilyn Antonucci. She will be sadly missed by the Gus' brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Stamastis is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. unti Monday at 9:30am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church at 10:00am. Rite of committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 7:30pm. Memorial remembrances to St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated by the family.
