Obituary of William Berdowski
Berdowski, Wilhlem/William) - Born November 11th,1919 passed away at daybreak on November 1, 2003 at the Hotel Dieu hospital at the age of 84. Survived by his daughter Teresa and his son Ted and wife Halina.
Sokol(Falcon) a Polish army veteran, a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Polish Veterans Br.418 who moved to Canada's promised land for a better life in 1950. An electrician who's start in the Pickle Crow Gold mines (Pickle Lake Ontario) brought him to St. Catharine's to be later employed by the St. Lawrence Seaway.
Passions for this man was to make good for his children. Nature was another one of his pleasures. Memories of his child hood on the farm were a favorite topic and my enjoyment.

William will be resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL 585 Carlton St. until Thursday at 9:30 am . Freinds may visit Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm . Vigil prayer will take place on Wednesday evening at 8pm . Funeral liturgy will be on Thursday at 10:00am in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 5 Oblate St. Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow.
