Granda,
I will never forget:
- Twix bars and orange pop after every Sunday hockey game
- Curry powder in your home made soup
- our only round of golf at Fairview golf course
- when we went to see WWF wrestling at MapleLeaf Gardens (Andre the Giant vs Jimmy "Super Fly" Snuka)
- visits from you and Nana while I was at work in Port Dalhousie
I have always been honoured to carry on the Hughes name, and I am happy that you knew our name would continue through my son, Aidan James.
Say hi to Nana!
Love,
Darryl James Hughes

Dear Granda, I will miss you. The thing I always remember about you, is when we came to visit (when you were in your house), you always had a bowl of soup for us. You had to fix it up your own special way (adding the "accent" and spices to it). You always said "sit down and have a wee bowl of soup". I am glad you spent your last years in Linhaven, the nurses there were great to your family when they spent their last days with you.I will miss you, Granda. Love always, your granddaughter, Carol xxoo Loving wishes also sent from Tom and great grandchildren, Chelsea, Jordan and Jay. p.s give Nana a hug and a kiss from us when you see her.
