Obituary of Stewart Laturney

LATURNEY, Stewart Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday November 10, 2002 at the Niagara Arms Retirement Home at 87 years of age. Predeceased by his loving wife Margaret (1985). Beloved husband of Kathleen. Cherished father of Patricia Anne Laturney of Stockton, California, James and Louise Laturney of Kitchener, and Cathie Michalski-Douglass and Don Cowie. Dear grandfather of Jamie-Lee Douglass, of Whistler, B.C., and Christopher, Katy and Meghan Laturney, all of Kitchener. Will be sadly missed by his stepchildren Bob and Linda Heffernan of Ottawa, Mike and Carol Heffernan of Smithville, Maureen and Gord Tabat of Durham, North Carolina, and by his sister Muriel of Kingston. Predeceased by his sister Betty. Mr. Laturney is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Wednesday at 9:00am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church at 9:30am. Cremation. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Kitchener, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the Alzhiemer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
