Pat & Nancy: It was with sadness that we learned of Alice's passing this week from Aunt Nonie. I have such fond memories of her when we used to visit 357 Hamilton Rd. in London as children. Also, it brought back memories of her brother Alex when he returned from the war and my father found him employment and he eventually settled in Kitchener. All of our family in Calgary extend our sympathy to you both and thank you for taking care of Alice in her final years. When I made my infrequent trips to London, she was always so pleased to share with us news about your children. May God be with you all,
Linda Haines (daughter of Rachel (Lutton) Preston)

Dear Pat, Nancy and family,
It is with great sadness that we have learned of Alice's passing. She was very much a part of my family, especially as I was growing up. She was there to help me deal with many happy and sad occasions over the years.
I know how much you all meant to her. Nancy, she was especially proud of your two little girls.
She was a gentle soul we will all miss a great deal. Thank you for caring so much for her. My sincere condolences.
