ASHAM, Angus 'Gus'
On Monday, July 22, 2002 at the Henderson Hospital at the age of 66. Beloved husband of Mary. Loving father of Bob (Helen) and Roger (Tina). Dear Grandfather of Camryn and Braeden, also Michelle Wasylyshen and Adam Hope. Survived by his sister Kathy (Ken) Stokes, sister-in-law Irene (Wayne) Harrison, brother-in-law Ed (Helen) Check, sister-in-law Marion (Stan 1995) Check. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Henry Check (2001) and Mike Check (2002). Gus will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was a member of Merritton Legion (Br.138) and a retiree of General Motors.
Mr. Asham is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. A Service to celebrated his life will be held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00am. Cremation to follow. Visitation Thursday 2-4 & 7-9pm. If so desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
