Obituary of Zdzislawa Liszak

LISZAK ZDZISLAWA "Gigi" 56 years. September 9, 2002. Surrounded by her family at home after a lengthy battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Krzysztof for 36 years. Loving mother of Agnes (Andy) Bajzert, Christopher and Arthur Liszak. Predeceased by her mother Maria Grobelny. Survived by her father Ignacy Grobelny. Proud and caring Babcia (grandmother) of Erik and Kayla Bajzert. Sadly missed by her siblings Genowefa (Stan) Porzuczek, Walter (Maria) Grobelny, Grace (Chuck) Geyer and Renata (David) Romano. Dear sister in law of Malgorzata (Jan) Cielen, Ewa (Krzysztof) Smuszkiewicz of Vancouver B.C. and Marek Liszak. Dear niece of Genny (Stan) Pogoda, Helen (Gino) Francavilla and Stella (Vincent) Mambella. Never forgotten by many relatives and friends in Poland and the United States. Sadly missed and never forgetten by her many nieces and nephews, close friends both personal and co-workers at the Hotel Dieu Hospital. Mrs. Liszak is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Thursday at 10:00am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 10:30am. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers for the deceased will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 8:00pm. Visiting hours are Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
