We keep memories tucked away, so that we can treasure all that has been and all that will be, unto the sails open to beyond the pearls yet to be discovered. These sails are always open as a tradition.. if you need to use them.

Phenomenal Man
From the time that Don moved in he has done nothing but help everyone in the building with good spirits and a happy demeanor. Don's knowledge of handyman work was so vast making him the go to guy and he never once gave the impression that he didn't want to help. Don was always seen with a happy go lucky attitude and a smile for everybody who crossed his path making it impossible to not smile back and feel uplifted. Don served on the board of directors with me and always encouraged me to keep positive and keep up the good work. Don you will be missed immensely by Tyonna and I but never forgotten by the memories we will hold for a lifetime.

helluv a guy
don and i worked at 12 ambulance station i toronto for may years. i always had the utmost respect for him and was one of most likable guys around i had my pilots license, so i took don up for an airplane ride. talk about a guy that could not stop smiling ear to ear. and he thought the best thing was that he could have a smoke while he looked around for miles and miles. another time, by chance, we met up at the cooks bay marina and as we were talking to each other we herd a cry for HELP! we both ran to the other side of the slips to find a lady in panic. thinking that her husband may have fallen into the water, Donny asks the lady where is he, where is he?" as i am looking in the water to see a small dog swimming over to me. the lady tells Donny "it my dog. he fell overboard don said to the lady "well it sounded like your husband fell in" she said to donny "if it was my husband i wouldn't have yell so loud"!! we both left her and her wet dog walking away, shaking our heads and then had a few drams of whiskey. Sleep softly my friend

It is with deep sadness upon hearing that Donny has died. Don and I worked together in Richmond Hill back in 1974 before being sent to Toronto Ambulance in the takeover of 1975. Don and I shared many good times together on the job and off. Please accept my sincere condolence on his passing.
Keith from Sault Ste. Marie
