Obituary of Alan Michael Morey

MOREY, Alan "Big Al" Taken suddenly from his beloved wife Mary on Thursday, December 20th, 2001 at the age of 46. Loving father of Michelle and Alicia. Dear son of Corinne & Walter (1983) Morey. Survived by his sisters Marilyn (Marvyn) Bell, Norma Williams, Cathy (Mike) Fedorowich, and brothers Russell Morey and Bruce (Diane) Morey. Best friend of Vic (Hilda) Bolibruck. Son-in-law of Bessie & Mike (1982) Tomcik, and brother-in-law of Vera (Bob) Lauzon, Mike (Paula) Tomcik, and Lori (Cesare) Bertucci. Alan will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, and dearest friends. He worked for Hostess Frito-Lay for 19 years and was the South Zone Sales Leader. Alan was an avid woodworker, enjoyed hunting, and coached ladies ringette & ladies softball. Mr. Morey is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. until Monday at 9:00am. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church on Monday at 9:30am. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visitation Saturday and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home on Sunday at 3:30pm. If so desired, donations to the Help A Child Smile or Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
